Sakernas August Training 2019

BPS-Statistics of Kolaka Timur Regency again carries out routine activities every semester, namely the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2019. Sakernas is a survey conducted by BPS specifically designed to collect data that can describe the general conditions of employment between periods of enumeration. Starting in 2016, the Sakernas questionnaire has adopted 2 standard labor concepts from ICLS 13 and ICLS 19 even though the ICLS 19 concept has not been fully accommodated. In 2019, Sakernas refined the concept of employment status adopted from ICLS 20 and added questions to capture the digital economic phenomenon.

Prior to the implementation in the field in August, BPS-Statistics of Kolaka Timur Regency was conducting Sakernas Staff Training in August 2019. The training was held for two days, starting on July 22, 2019 until July 24, 2019 which took place at Az-Zahra Lodge, Ladongi Sub distric, Kolaka Timur Regency. A total of 23 officers consisting of 5 supervisors and 18 enumerators, attended the Sakernas Training in August 2019. The training was opened by the Head of the Kolaka Timur District BPS Office, Muhlis, SE., M.Sc. In his remarks, Muhlis advised the officers to be serious and active in training so that the faithful concepts, definitions and procedures for interviews delivered by the regional instructors (inda) could be maximally absorbed.
