On August 7, 2024, Simbune Village represented Kolaka Timur Regency in the Love Statistics Village Program (Desa Cantik). This program is an initiative of the The BPS-Statistics to increase literacy, awareness, and the active role of village officials in organizing statistical activities and forming statistical agents at the village level. This activity was attended by various important parties, including the Regional Secretary representing the Kolaka Timur Regency, Head of East Kolaka BP The BPS-Statistics of Kolaka Timur Regency, Head of Simbune Village, Head of Bappeda, Head of Diskominfo, Head of DPMD, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, Tirawuta District Head, officials and the community of Simbune Village, as well as the Head of Lalingato Village and the Head of Poni Poniki Village.
