Abstract

  • NTP index Sulawesi Tenggara in May 2015 recorded an increase of 98.46 or 0.68 percent over the previous month was recorded at 97.80. NTP index each subsector recorded as follows: food crops subsector (NTPP) 92.60; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 91.71; Smallholder Crop Subsector (NTPR) 100.45; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 104.95 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 102.77. While the National NTP index of 100.02, down by 0.12 percent from the previous 100.14.
  • In May 2015, nationwide 15 provinces experienced an increase in NTP index, while 18 other provinces experienced a decline in the index. The highest increase was recorded in West Nusa Tenggara Province in the amount of 1.22 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Riau Province amounted to 1.24 percent.
  • On May 2015, Sulawesi Tenggara Province recorded an inflation rate of 0.36 percent rural. This occurs because of the increase in the price index in six groups: foodstuffs rose by 0.33 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.75 percent; housing 0.36 percent; clothing 0.03 percent; health 0.47 percent; as well as transportation and communication rose by 0.13 percent. While the decline is education, recreation, and sports by 0.01 percent.
