Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
Southeast Sulawesi's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in March 2024 rose 1.85 percent from 108.85 to 110.86. The increase in NTP was caused by the price index received by farmers (It) increasing by 3.13 percent. higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 1.26 percent.
