Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 is estimated to be around 130.31 thousand hectares, an increase of 16.38 thousand hectares or 14.38 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 113.93 thousand hectares. Rice production in 2024 is estimated to be 552.97 thousand tons
GKG, an increase of 73.57 thousand tons of GKG or 15.34 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 479.41 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption is estimated to be around 317.56 thousand tons, an increase of 42.25 thousand tons or 15.35 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 275.31 thousand tons
