Abstract

  • Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) index of Sulawesi Tenggara on March 2015 recorded at 98,15 or decreased by 0,86 percent compared to the previous month, which was recorded at 99,00. FTT index in each subsector recorded as follows: Food Crops Subsector was 97,94; Horticulture 93,15; Smallholder Estate 95,87; Animal Husbandry 104,31 and Fishery subsector was 103.58. While the National Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) index was 101,53, decreased by 0,64 percent from the previous 102,19.
  • On March 2015, 19 provinces experienced increasing on Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) Index and 14 provinces were decreased. The highest increasing was recorded in Bangka Belitung Province which was 1,28 percent, and the highest decreasing was Jawa Timur Province with 1,75 percent.
  • On March 2015, Sulawesi Tenggara Province recorded an inflation rural rate at 0,37 percent. This is due to the increasing of the price index in all groups: foodstuffs increased by 0,23 percent; Prepared food 0,27 percent; housing 0,25 percent; clothing 0,07 percent; health 0,31 percent; education, recreation, and sports 0,99 percent and transportation and communication 1,00 percent.
