Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi economy first quarter of 2015 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached USD 20 150.16 billion.

Southeast Sulawesi economy first quarter of 2015 grew 5.77 percent compared to the first quarter slowed in 2014 amounted to 8.68 percent. On the production side, the highest growth achieved by the Industrial Manufacturing at 18.18 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest growth by gross fixed capital formation component of 10.00 percent.

Southeast Sulawesi economy first quarter of 2015 grew by -4.51 percent, slower than the previous quarter at 1.25 percent (q-to-q). On the production side, it is due to seasonal factors in the construction business field in the previous quarter grew quite high, in the first quarter growth was minus 13.29 percent. From the expenditure side due to the decrease of all components of expenditure, notably government consumption growth was minus 27.31 percent.

On the production side, the business field Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the most dominant contribution to the GDP of Southeast Sulawesi, amounting to 24.23 percent. On the expenditure side, GDP structure is dominated by Household Consumption component, amounting to 53.75 percent.
