Abstract

  • The NTP of Southeast Sulawesi in November 2024 was recorded at 113.48 or decreased by 0.63 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 114.21.
  • The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
  • The NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. The NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
  • The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Southeast Sulawesi in November 2024 fell by 0.63 percent from 114.21 to 113.48. This decrease in the NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) falling by 0.28 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rising by 0.36 percent.
  • The NTP of each subsector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Subsector (NTPP) 96.14; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 106.42; People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTPR) 129.24; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 106.80 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 100.18. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 121.29 or an increase of 0.49 percent from the previous month of 120.70.
  • In November 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Southeast Sulawesi by 0.44 percent, one of the causes of which was dominated by an increase in the index value in the food, beverage and tobacco expenditure group.
