December 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Southeast Sulawesi Province was 1.05 percent

Abstract

In December 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Southeast Sulawesi Province of 1.05 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.56. The highest inflation occurred in Baubau City at 2.07 percent with a CPI of 107.82 and the lowest occurred in Konawe Regency at 0.22 percent with a CPI of 106.81.
Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.73 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.61 percent; health group by 0.34 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 2.25 percent; education group by 1.02 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.45 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.77 percent. The expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: clothing and footwear group by 1.47 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.36 percent; transportation group by 1.29 percent; and information, communication, and financial services group by 0.75 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi Province experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.29 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation of 1.05 percent.
