Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Southeast Sulawesi in August 2024 increased by 0.33 percent from 115.96 to 116.34. This increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) increasing by 0.01 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreasing by 0.32 percent.
